Rise of Internet in Africa

internet in africaEverybody needs money to live. But many of them don't know how to earn money.Well, the internet in Africa ( sub-Saharan Africa) has helped people to earn money. The good thing is that many Africans are skilled and expert in something or the other.

" If you are good at something, never do it for free".

So sell your talent and expertise via the internet and earn money easily.

Want to know how??

Taking the example of Winston Wachanga from Kenya, who struggled to find a buyer for his vegetables, decided to set up an online delivery company named Kitchen Soko.

Listen to his words:

" We produce so many veggies but accessing customers was difficult."

So he ended up in seeking the help of internet and hence started Kitchen Soko.In less than a year he has built up a network of 80 local farmers in Kenya whose products are delivered straight to the customer’s front door. Customers can find out exactly which farm the product has come from.In 2013, McKinsey estimated that by 2025 e-commerce could account for 10% of retail sales in Africa’s largest economies.

Citing another example of an entrepreneur from Gambia, who launched Farm Fresh in order to  buy food directly from local food producers thereby cutting the middleman. For Africans, e-commerce is indeed a new one and most people do not have a physical store. They just sell it online.

The stupendous rate of E-commerce has opened up doors for many unemployed. So for that, you need to have a reliable and trustworthy internet provider.Without a safe and secure wireless network, the entire e-commerce process could go wrong.

4ipnet offers wireless networking solutions (access points, WLAN controllers and hotspot gateways) across Africa and the Middle East. What makes 4ipnet unique from the other wireless networking providers is that it is an "All in One Wireless LAN Solution which includes WAN Gateway & Controller for AP, User & Network Management”.
